Lead Delivery Manager | Data Platforms & Applications

Lead the delivery of complex applications, data services and system enhancements within a major Australian Government ICT environment. Drive Agile delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and support the modernisation of enterprise data platforms, including AWS and Teradata. Initial full-time onsite attendance in Canberra is mandatory.

Location: Canberra, ACT
Contract Duration: Until 30 June 2027, with 2 x 12-month extension options.
Security Clearance Requirement:NV 1

Essential Tasks

- Lead the planning and delivery of enterprise applications, data services and enhancements supporting intelligence, analytics, reporting and operational decision-making.
- Translate product roadmaps and business priorities into delivery plans, milestones, resource schedules and achievable outcomes
- Coordinate multidisciplinary Agile teams, manage delivery risks and dependencies, and maintain effective governance and stakeholder reporting.




- Oversee application releases, testing, implementation and transition to operational support, ensuring alignment with architecture, security and data governance requirements.

Key Criteria

- Demonstrated expertise in resource planning, capacity management and deployment across complex ICT delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills, including strategic engagement, negotiation and communication with senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience managing systems development initiatives, including delivery roadmaps, technical governance, security and privacy requirements.
- Extensive programme and delivery management experience, ideally 10+ years, with strong Agile/Scrum leadership and the ability to manage concurrent projects.

Due to the nature of this setting, candidates must hold a current AGSVA clearance.
