PCS Supermarket Minto Pty Ltd T/A Oriental Grocer is currently seeking to employ a full-time Shop Manager for our shop in Minto, NSW 2566.

About the role

This is a full time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week. You must be available for a flexible roster, including weekends and some public holidays.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the daily operations of the shop to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor stock levels of products and place orders with suppliers when needed.




- Set product prices and organise in-store promotions and specials.
- Assist customers with purchases and provide advice on products.
- Ensure products are displayed, stored, and handled properly to maintain freshness and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and supplier deliveries.
- Manage shop budgets, monitor sales performance, and control operating costs.
- Recruit, train, roster, and supervise staff to maintain high customer service standards.
- Ensure the shop complies with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Oversee store presentation, product displays, and overall cleanliness of the shop.

Required Skills:

- Minimum 1-year full time or part time equivalent as a shop manager
- Systematic approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work unsupervised.

Qualifications:

- Diploma in Business or equivalentis preferred
