Stella Products is looking for a reliable, hands on and organised Storeperson / Forklift Driver to join our team, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm. This is a varied warehouse role involving picking and packing orders, dispatch, loading and unloading goods, stock control, deliveries and maintaining an organised warehouse. You'll also assist customers who visit our storeroom for collections and purchases, providing friendly and efficient service.
We're a small team, so everyone plays an important role. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, can work independently and is happy to pitch in wherever needed.
You'll need to be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment without compromising accuracy. Being comfortable with computers and inventory systems is important, as is having a proactive attitude and taking pride in keeping things organised and getting the job done right.
Key responsibilities
- Pick, pack and prepare bulk and small customer orders for dispatch.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate a forklift/aisle master to move, load and unload stock.
- Prepare and coordinate daily orders to ensure they are accurate and ready on time.
- Assist with deliveries using a van or truck as required.
- Serve customers visiting our storeroom for purchases and collections.
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock.
- Restock and organise warehouse inventory.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory checks.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and help maintain accurate inventory records.
About you
- A current forklift licence and practical forklift experience.
- Experience driving a van or truck and completing deliveries.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson, dispatch or similar role.
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when picking orders and managing stock.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with stocktakes, inventory control and stock management.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- A friendly and skilled manner when dealing with customers.
