Ready to take your criminal law career further - and help shape the future of prosecution in the Northern Territory?

This is a unique opportunity to step into a dynamic advocacy role at the forefront of criminal prosecution. You'll lead complex matters in the Local Court, including in Bush Circuit and Community Court, appearing in bail and arrest proceedings, directions hearings, youth prosecutions, preliminary examinations, appeals, and more. You'll also play a key role instructing in Supreme Court trials - offering valuable exposure to higher court work.

We're looking for a skilled advocate who thrives in court, brings sound judgment, and has a solid track record conducting hearings in the lower jurisdictions. Your ability to communicate clearly, manage competing priorities, and build effective working relationships will be critical to your success.

What you'll get in return

Competitive salary of $117,625 - $131,735 (inclusive of 12% superannuation).

6 weeks' annual leave + 3 weeks' personal leave.

17.5% leave loading.
