Lead GNC Engineer Aerospace / Launch Systems Australia
Responsibilities
- Lead the GNC team delivering flight control and autopilot systems
- Own simulation, state estimation, mission design, and control development
- Develop and improve flight algorithms for guidance, navigation, and control
- Lead verification & validation including HIL testing and Monte Carlo analysis
- Integrate GNC systems with avionics, propulsion, and mission operations
- Mentor engineers and define best practices across the GNC function
Experience
- 4 years GNC, flight software, robotics, or control systems experience
- Strong Python and MATLAB skills
- C/C development experience
- Strong control theory and systems engineering background
- Experience with simulation and V&V; in CI environments
- Exposure to aerospace, UAV, satellite, or launch systems preferred
- Ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance
