The Lockyer Hotel in Forest Hill QLD is seeking a full time qualified chef or kitchen all rounder to join our dynamic kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and executing a diverse range of dishes with creativity and precision

Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain high culinary standards and timely delivery of orders

Ensuring beautiful presentation and quality of all dishes leaving the kitchen

Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards to provide a safe dining experience for our guests

Assist in the day-to-day operation and procedures of the kitchen

About you

A recognized culinary qualification and relevant certifications and or Proven experience in a similar role, showcasing your hospitality knowledge

A sense of creativity and pride in your dishes

Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a team or independently when required





Availability to work on weekends and evenings to accommodate busy service hours

Own reliable transportation

A supportive and energetic work environment that encourages creativity and using your talents

One full weekend per month off and a 4 day working week
