We’re looking for a hands‑on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of our restaurant. You’ll help lead a small team and deliver welcoming, productive service, particularly during our busy summer months.
Responsibilities
Support daily operations, including opening and closing, reservations and service.
Help organise, motivate and guide the team during busy shifts.
Manage the wine list, including stock checks, ordering and keeping listings up to date.
Help guests choose wines and support the team’s wine knowledge.
Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness and health and safety.
Coordinate with the kitchen and front‑of‑house team to keep service running smoothly.
About you
You have restaurant or hospitality experience, ideally in a supervisory role.
You’re organised, approachable and confident supporting a small team.
You have a genuine interest in wine; WSET Level 3 is a plus.
You stay calm, practical and guest-focused during busy service.
