The role leads the midwifery and related staff within the Antenatal Clinic & Midwifery Group Practice, coordinating midwifery care and ensuring effective collaboration with health professionals.

It also involves environmental and WHS management of the unit. The district emphasises clinician-led standards and ongoing engagement to improve safety and quality in women
