An excellent opportunity is available for a Chemistry and Science Teacher to join a welcoming, values-driven Christian school on Sydney's Upper North Shore.

Commencing in Term 1, 2027, this full-time 12-month contract will see the successful candidate teaching Stage 6 Chemistry alongside Stages 4 and 5 Science. Both experienced teachers and early career educators are encouraged to apply.

The Role

- Teach Stage 6 Chemistry
- Teach Science across Stages 4 and 5
- Deliver engaging and contemporary teaching and learning programs




- Support students to achieve strong academic outcomes
- Foster curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for science
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Science faculty
- Contribute positively to the broader life of the school and its community

About You

- Strong knowledge of the NSW Science curriculum
- Confidence teaching Stage 6 Chemistry
- Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of abilities
- Passion for science education and student achievement
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Collaborative and professional approach to teaching and learning
- An appreciation for Christian values and the school's ethos
- A genuine interest in contributing to a school community grounded in faith, care and service

Essential Requirements

- Relevant secondary teaching qualifications
- Current NESA accreditation or eligibility
- Ability to teach Stage 6 Chemistry
- Current Working With Children Check
- Full Australian working rights
