About the Hotel The Sebel Byron Bayyour ideal home base whilst you explore Byron Bay. Accommodation located right in the heart of Byron Bay surrounded by vibrant cafes, restaurants and fashion boutiques with glorious Main Beach just 150 meters away from the beach is looking for new Front Office superstars to join our vibrant team!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide warm, knowledgeable, and professional service to both guests and team members.
Assist guests with enquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Make and manage reservations as required. Experience with Opera Cloud and Accor systems is highly regarded.
Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally in accordance with brand standards.
Record and communicate guest feedback to the relevant department managers.
Maintain accurate guest profiles and property information.
Ensure thorough shift handovers to support seamless guest service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment.
Liaise closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure effective communication and guest satisfaction.
Process cash, credit card, and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
Be available to work a flexible roster, including weekends and public holidays.
About You:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Previous hotel front office experience is preferred.
Experience with Opera Cloud and Accor systems is advantageous.
