Bridging technical plan-reading with proactive telesales, you will independently drive enquiries through to closed, profitable ordersWhat You'll DoEstimating & Plan Interpretation: Confidently interpret architectural and construction drawings, perform accurate quantity take-offs, and calculate materials, labour, and project costs.Proposal & Pricing Management: Prepare clear, competitive, and commercially sound quotations using approved pricing structures, ensuring high estimating accuracy and profit margin protection.Proactive Sales Closing & Follow-Up: Actively follow up issued quotations via phone, establish project timelines, address objections, and confidently ask for the order.Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain 100% accuracy in the CRM by logging every meaningful conversation, tracking decision dates, updating deal statuses, and assigning next actions.Sales-to-Operations Handover: Ensure seamless handover of secured orders to design, scheduling, and production teams with clear specifications, variation records, and scope details.Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify upcoming construction projects, research qualified builder prospects,



and send structured outreach to generate new quotation opportunities.Daily Reporting & Performance Tracking: Submit concise daily end-of-day reports tracking call volume, quotation completion, conversion rates, and pipeline developments.What You BringExperience & Certifications: 3–5+ years of experience in construction estimating, building products, manufacturing, stairs, joinery, or balustrades (a high school diploma or tertiary qualification demonstrating disciplined study).Core Technical/Specialized Skills: Advanced capability in reading/interpreting architectural drawings, metric measurements, spatial awareness, and CRM/estimating software.Background & Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of Australian building terminology, construction processes, or manufacturing environment context.Technical Translation / Delivery: Exceptional spoken and written English with a clear telephone manner, confident objection-handling abilities, and strong Australian builder rapport-building skills.Working Style: High self-discipline, strong commercial instinct, and complete ownership over lead conversion without requiring continuous direct supervision.Remote Work RequirementsHardware: Reliable personal laptop or desktop capable of running all role-required software.Connectivity: High-speed, stable internet connection with a backup plan for power or connectivity outages.Workspace: A dedicated, quiet, and professional home-office environment.Mindset: High self-discipline, excellent time management, and a strong track record of thriving in an autonomous remote setup.Connecting the extraordinary talent of South Africa with businesses around the world.
