About the Role
- Breakdown diagnostics, fault finding and repairs
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Repairs and maintenance on heavy mobile mining equipment
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards
Essential Experience
Proven hands-on maintenance and repair experience with the following mining equipment manufacturers is essential:
- Caterpillar (CAT)
- Komatsu
- Liebherr
Experience across multiple equipment types, including excavators, dozers, haul trucks and other heavy mobile mining machinery, will be highly regarded.
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent
- Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
- Demonstrated experience with CAT, Komatsu and Liebherr equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Commitment to mine-site safety standards
- Current Australian driver's license
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to work independently and meet site requirements
