The Learning Terrace Early Education, Care and Preschool is a family owned child care centre with a wonderfully supportive culturefor all of our staff,families and children. Our service provides high quality care in a beautiful workplace for up to 109children every day.

The Learning Terrace is committed to child safety and the wellbeing of children in our care. Child Safety is of paramount importance in all that we do and actively consider children's voices in all decisions that affect them. We foster a culture where child safety is embedded in our everyday practices and responsibilities, where all staff understand and uphold their child safety obligations.

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and skilled cook to take on the responsibility of designing and preparing an exciting,delicious, fresh and wholesome menu for our children each day.

Successful applicants within the role will:





- Have or have applied for aworking with children check
- Be responsible for designing and auditing an appropriate rotating menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years which includes children with allergies and intolerances,
- Be responsible for all ordering and stock control,
- Be able to work autonomously, be reliable and well organised,
- Be able to maintain high levels of cleanliness and order expected in a safe kitchen,
- Be able to engage positively with Educators and children within the service.

Holding a Certificate 3 in Cookery is preferred, but not essential with training able to be provided

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate preferred but not essential as training will be provided

Allergen training preferred but not essential as training will be provided
