A fantastic opportunity exists for the right candidate to manage the hospitality at beautiful South Stradbroke Island campground.

The Role

South Stradbroke Island is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to join our team full-time.

Nestled in South Stradbroke island, our restaurant is known for its warm hospitality, great coffee, and relaxed yet qualified atmosphere. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences while supporting and inspiring their team.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, and support Kitchen team.
- Daily Operations: Oversee smooth day-to-day service, including opening and closing duties.
- Customer Service: Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through friendly, professional, and attentive service.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure presentation, cleanliness, and service standards are consistently maintained.
- Staff Management: Create rosters, uphold workplace safety, and assist with food and beverage preparation when required.
- Financial Accountability: Manage cash handling and contribute to the café’s front-of-house performance and efficiency.

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 4 years of hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role.




- Proven barista skills and a passion for coffee and café culture.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach to service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster.

Will be required if successful:

- Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR
- Current Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Legally entitled to work in Australia
