Tonemaster is a growing Sydney-based brick restoration company specialising in brick cleaning, stain removal, repointing and brick colour restoration. We're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals with a positive attitude and a genuine pride in their work to join our team.

Previous construction or trade experience is highly regarded, and full training in our specialised restoration techniques will be provided.

This is initially a contract position, with opportunities for ongoing part-time or full-time employment for the right candidates.

Construction Trades Assistant – Brick Restoration

What you'll be doing:

- Brick stain removal and cleaning
- Repointing brickwork
- Brick colour restoration and colour enhancement
- Surface preparation and pressure washing
- General labouring and site preparation duties
- Working alongside an experienced team on residential and commercial projects
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Ensuring work is completed carefully and to a high standard

What we're looking for:

- Takes pride in their work and pays attention to detail
- Committed to doing things properly rather than cutting corners
- Previous hands-on experience in construction, labouring or a related trade
- Comfortable using tools and working in a hands-on environment
- Physically capable of performing manual work outdoors
- Willing to learn new skills and follow instructions
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a willingness to take responsibility
- Current White Card
- Driver's licence and reliable transport to travel to different job sites across Sydney
- ABN required (or willing to obtain one) for subcontracting work

Bonus points if you have experience with:

- Painting
- Pressure washing
- General construction or labouring
- Masonry or bricklaying
- Rendering or plastering
- Repointing
- Construction management or building-related studies
- Supervising workers or coordinating jobs on site
