JTA Law is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to support our legal team while gaining valuable, hands‑on experience in legal practice.
About the Role
As a Law Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting the team with administrative and legal tasks while developing your understanding of legal practice. You will be provided with opportunities to build practical skills, contribute to client service delivery, and gain valuable insight into the legal profession.
This is a permanent part‑time position, requiring a minimum commitment of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Undertaking legal research and preparing summaries.
Drafting matter chronologies and legal documents.
Managing document filing, correspondence, and records.
Assisting lawyers and legal assistants with ad hoc tasks.
About You
Currently studying a Bachelor of Laws.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Positive, proactive, and willing to learn.
Team‑oriented with a strong commitment to providing quality support.
