Domestic Assistant

What the role looks like

You’ll visit older clients in their own homes across Melton, Brisbane and surrounding suburbs, providing domestic assistance to help keep their homes clean, comfortable and welcoming. Your duties may include general household cleaning, tidying, laundry and, on occasion, shopping for clients to support their day-to-day needs. You’ll help clients continue living safely and independently in their own homes.

You’ll visit multiple clients throughout the week, with availability required between 7:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. There are no night shifts or weekend work.

You’ll be paid for your full shift, including travel time between clients, as well as receiving a per-kilometre allowance for kilometres driven between client homes.

- You're happy to work across a broad radius and are willing to travel up to 30 minutes between client locations

You’ll need to hold, or be willing to obtain:

- Current National Police Clearance
- Evidence of two doses of COVID vaccination
- Two professional references and proof of Australian working rights
