We are seeking an experienced and appropriately authorised General Insurance Broker to take ownership of our general insurance offering. You will have the opportunity to service existing clients, develop new business and build ongoing client relationships, with the flexibility to operate with a degree of independence under an approved specialist general insurance licensee arrangement.

Key responsibilities

Assess client needs and obtain quotes

Manage renewals and maintain client relationships

Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory and licensing requirements

Service existing clients and develop new business

Identify opportunities to grow the portfolio

About you

Experience in general insurance broking or advising

Relevant qualifications and authorisations for the products and services you provide

Current appointment or ability to be appointed as an Authorised Representative (AR) of a specialist general insurance AFSL, with approval for the proposed arrangement

Experience across personal and/or commercial general insurance





Experience in SME and commercial insurance, particularly skilled indemnity and business insurance

Strong communication and client relationship management skills

The ability to work independently and identify opportunities to grow the portfolio

$80,000 - $90,000 base salary per annum, plus superannuation

Profit split remuneration arrangement from day 1

Access to an existing advisory and brokerage client base

Opportunities to generate additional business through our established financial planning client network
