About AGT
Australian Ground Technologies (AGT) is a specialist ground engineering and civil construction company delivering projects across Sydney and surrounding areas. Our work includes shotcrete, ground anchors and soil nails.
We are seeking an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer to join our growing team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects across our sites.
About the Role
The successful applicant will have hands‑on experience in shotcrete spraying and a strong understanding of safe work practices, concrete application and site requirements.
You will work alongside our site supervisors and construction crews to ensure shotcrete works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out shotcrete spraying on civil construction projects.
- Apply shotcrete in accordance with project specifications and approved procedures.
- Work closely with concrete pump operators, offsiders and site supervisors.
- Ensure the correct thickness,
coverage and finish are achieved.
- Follow SWMS, site safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and assist with equipment clean‑up.
- Identify and report any quality issues or site hazards.
- Assist with daily equipment checks and maintain shotcrete spraying equipment.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a shotcrete sprayer.
- Experience in civil construction, retaining walls or geotechnical works.
- Understanding of shotcrete application methods and quality requirements.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow site instructions.
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work across various project locations.
- Relevant tickets, licences and construction inductions as required.
