Talent Lab Co have partnered with a much-loved Beauty & Personal Care client, who are fast-growing and highly innovative.... and they’re looking for a Senior Demand Planner & Supply Chain Specialist to keep their products where customers want them, right when they want them!
You’ll be the person who makes sure the shelves (and the shopping carts) are never empty.
It’s a hands-on role with real influence, offering long‑term growth and development with a scaling organisation. This role will work alongside a friendly, collaborative Operations team and cross‑functionally across Finance, Procurement, Sales and Marketing. If you know how to master all things inventory related, and how to really optimise stock then this could be for you.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build and refine a smooth, cost‑smart supply chain that keeps best‑sellers in stock
- Own demand forecasting and forecasting models, working hand in hand with key stakeholders
- Set safety stock levels SKU by SKU and keep a close eye on inventory, turns and replenishment
- Create transparent KPIs,
dashboards and reports that bring supply chain performance to life for the wider team
- Partner with Procurement and logistics providers to keep inbound freight fast, efficient and on time
- Review supplier performance and put smart strategies in place to reduce risk and keep improving
- Team up with Finance on the cashflow side of procurement and shipping decisions
- Connect all supply chain processes with NetSuite
- Spot bottlenecks and lead the improvement projects that iron them out
- Mentor junior team members and be the go‑to expert people trust for advice
What you will bring:
- Proven Experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting within FMCG, Beauty, or relatable consumer goods.
- Exposure to both internal and contract manufacturing processes (ideal)
- A problem solver- with in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain principles
- Solid commercial and financial acumen, and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and with external teams
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where things move at pace
