Akkodis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the software architecture behind advanced directed energy systems. You will lead real-time control software development for laser and beam-director subsystems, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams onsite in Canberra.

You will design, implement and optimize real-time C++ software on Linux, ensure safety interlocks and fail-protected behaviours, and mentor engineers while contributing to software standards.
