Role Description The Transmission Lineworker is a full-time, on-site role based in Termeil, NSW, responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of high-voltage transmission lines. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, tower assembly and erection, stringing and conductor works The role involves working at heights, using specialized tools and equipment, reading and interpreting technical drawings,



and adhering to safe work practices and relevant standards.

The Transmission

Lineworker will collaborate with crew leaders and team members to plan work, complete shutdown and commissioning activities, and ensure quality and reliability in all field operations. Accurate documentation of work performed and effective communication with supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders is expected.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work safely and effectively in field crews.
- Demonstrated focus on quality control, compliance with standards, and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Practical common sense and sound judgment in assessing risks, solving problems, and making decisions on site.
- Relevant transmission lineworker trade qualification (CERT III Transmission)
- Experience in transmission line construction, maintenance, and fault restoration, including working at heights.
- Knowledge of Australian safety regulations, safe work methods, and use of PPE and fall protection systems.
- Valid driver’s license; high-risk work licenses, EWP, or other industry tickets are highly regarded.
