Senior Software Engineer

We're interested in hearing from people who

Design, build and operate scalable, resilient and secure software solutions that

support Asset Based Lending, Supply Chain and structured trade finance products.

Bring solid software engineering and system design skills, with experience

delivering cloud-native, distributed or event-driven solutions.

Demonstrate end-to-end ownership across the SDLC, including solution design,

development, testing, CI/CD, observability, cloud infrastructure and production

support.

Solve complex technical and business problems pragmatically while maintaining

strong risk, control, security and data quality outcomes.

Contribute to technical direction through effective collaboration, thoughtful design

decisions, code reviews, mentoring and engineering best practices.

Promote engineering excellence through automation, AI-assisted development,

Dev SecOps, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Tech Skills

We use a broad range of technologies, tools, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know

them all, but experience in several of the following areas will help you succeed in this role:

Must have:





o Strong software engineering fundamentals, including system design, design

patterns, clean code practices, and automated testing.

o Proven hands-on development experience in Python, building scalable and

maintainable production systems.

o Experience designing and delivering cloud-native, distributed or event-driven

systems and contributing to technical design decisions.

o Experience building or integrating APIs, data pipelines, workflow automation

and data-intensive applications.

o Strong understanding of Dev Ops, CI/CD, and engineering automation, with

experience using tools such as Git Hub Actions or similar.

o Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).

o Knowledge of observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting,

and production support.

o Understanding of secure software development practices and Dev SecOps

principles.

Nice to have:

o Experience or knowledge of banking, lending, working capital, trade finance,

commodities or financial markets will be highly regarded.
