The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to lead the NSW business of a leading Australian-owned insurance broking group.

As the organisation continues to grow and expand, it has reviewed its leadership structure and identified the need for a dedicated General Manager in NSW. This newly created position offers the opportunity to shape the direction of the state business, lead an established broking team and play a key role in the group's continued growth.

The role will have a strong focus on corporate accounts, making prior experience managing corporate clients essential.

About the Role

Reporting into the broader executive team, you will be responsible for the overall performance, growth and leadership of the NSW business.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading multiple direct reports and a wider team of brokers across NSW.
- Driving significant business growth, current business opportunities and client retention.




- Managing and strengthening relationships with corporate clients and key insurer partners.
- Developing and executing strategies to improve revenue, profitability and market presence.
- Building a high-performing culture focused on accountability, collaboration and exceptional client outcomes.
- Supporting the ongoing development of the state business as part of the wider group leadership team.

About You

You are an experienced insurance leader with a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to grow and lead a broking business.

You will bring:

- Demonstrated leadership experience within insurance broking or a related insurance environment.
- Previous experience managing corporate accounts is essential.
- A proven track record of driving significant business growth and improving commercial performance.
- Experience leading senior direct reports and larger broking teams.
- Strong relationships across the insurance market, including clients and insurers.
- The ability to develop and execute strategy while building a high-performing team culture.
