Job Summary

Reporting directly to the VP Finance, Australia Finance Director serves as the lead finance business partner for the development, construction, and operational readiness of the company's Australian site. This role partners closely with Site Leadership, Engineering, Construction, Supply Chain, and global Finance to manage capital investments, monitor project performance, and ensure financial discipline throughout the site's buildout and ramp-up phases.

In addition to strategic business partnering responsibilities, this role serves as the senior finance leader for the Australian entity, overseeing local financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax coordination, regulatory requirements, and governance activities. The Director will ensure the organization maintains compliance with Australian accounting, tax, and reporting obligations while supporting rapid business growth and operational expansion.

Business Partnership – Australia Site Development

- Serve as the strategic finance partner to the Australia Site Leader and cross-functional leadership team responsible for the design, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness of PsiQuantum's Australian facility.




- Partner with Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Program Management to support the successful delivery of the site and its capabilities required to build a fault-tolerant quantum computer.
- Lead financial planning and oversight for capital expenditures, including facility construction, manufacturing equipment, infrastructure, utilities, and supporting technologies.
- Develop and maintain multi-year capital investment plans, project forecasts, cash flow projections, and scenario analyses to support executive decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders to develop operating expense budgets, workforce plans, and financial models supporting the transition from construction to manufacturing and operational readiness.

Requirements

- CPA, CA, or equivalent skilled qualification.
- Experience serving as Finance Director, Controller, or senior finance leader for an Australian legal entity.
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience managing external audits and regulatory compliance activities.
- Prior experience supporting large-scale capital projects, infrastructure development, manufacturing, semiconductor, technology, or industrial operations.
