Millstone Group is a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of packaged stockfeeds based in Allora, Queensland. We supply a wide range of quality feed products to rural stores throughout Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
About the role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse and Feed Mill Manufacturing Assistant to join our team in Allora. This hands-on role supports the manufacture and dispatch of animal feed products while maintaining our high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, takes pride in their work, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the manufacture and dispatch of animal feed products
- Support production activities to achieve daily output targets
- Operate forklifts and manufacturing equipment safely
- Handle raw materials and finished products efficiently
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
- Monitor and maintain stock levels
- Maintain a clean, protected and organised workplace
- Follow all safety, hygiene, GMP and HACCP requirements
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to support daily operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
About you
You will ideally possess:
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Previous experience in manufacturing, feed production or food production (preferred)
- Experience operating manufacturing equipment or machinery (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 20kg
