Cardinia Engineering Group NSW is a growing fabrication business based in Fountaindale on the Central Coast. We’re looking for an experienced and reliable welder/fabricator to join our small team manufacturing products under a long-term national contract.
This is a full-time, ongoing position offering consistent work and the opportunity to grow with the business.
Please note: We will be relocating to larger premises elsewhere on the Central Coast, potentially in the Jilliby area, as the business continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding of steel components
- Laser welding of sheet metal and components — full training provided
- Light fabrication and assembly
- Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings
- Producing accurate, high-quality work consistently and efficiently
Requirements
- Previous welding experience — essential
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, productive and able to work independently
- Comfortable working as part of a small team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Additional trade skills, tickets or licences will be highly regarded, including experience in areas such as:
- Spray painting
- Fitting and machining
- CNC operation
- MR/HR truck licence
- Other fabrication, manufacturing or workshop-based skills
