About the Role

As our Senior Placement Specialist, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of large and complex strata and community association clients and lead placement strategies for risks that require experience, creativity and robust insurer relationships.

You’ll join an experienced broking leadership team that already places some of the market’s most complex buildings. You’ll take ownership of growing that portfolio, bring your own market relationships and influence placement strategy at a senior level.

Working closely with insurers, underwriters, strata managers and clients, you’ll deliver exceptional outcomes while contributing to a culture where knowledge is shared, ideas are welcomed and people genuinely support one another.

This is a senior role with genuine influence over placement strategy and portfolio direction. As the business grows, there will also be opportunities to grow your leadership responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Managing a portfolio of large and complex strata and property risks.
- Leading renewal and placement strategies for difficult to place accounts.
- Negotiating directly with insurers and underwriters.




- Acting as a senior technical voice in client and committee meetings.
- Building strong relationships with clients, strata managers and insurer partners.
- Supporting and mentoring brokers across the business.
- Contributing to the growth of BAC’s large and high-value building portfolio, from new business through to placement.
- Strengthening BAC’s reputation for technical excellence and trusted advice.

- Measurably growing BAC’s portfolio of large and complex buildings.
- Delivering outstanding outcomes for challenging placements.
- Building trusted relationships with clients, strata managers and insurers.

- Sharing knowledge and helping develop the broader broking team.

About You

We’re less interested in where you’ve worked and more interested in the expertise, judgement and relationships you bring.

You might currently be a:

- Senior Strata Broker
- Property or ISR Specialist
- Placement Broker
- Corporate Account Manager
- Senior Client Executive

What matters most is your ability to manage complex risks, build strong relationships and confidently navigate insurer markets.

Essential

- Tier 1 qualification.
- Strong insurance broking experience.
- Experience managing and placing large or complex property risks.
- Established insurer and underwriting relationships.
- Commercial mindset and strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to build trust with clients and confidently engage with senior stakeholders.

Highly Regarded

- Strata or community association insurance experience.




- Experience managing large-building portfolios.
- Business development capability.
- Experience mentoring or coaching others.
- Diploma of Insurance Broking or similar qualifications.
