The Opportunity

Are you an experienced HR Manager or Senior HR Generalist who’s ready to take that next step in your career? Looking for an opportunity to lead a People & Culture function and genuinely make your mark?

We’re on the hunt for an energetic, confident and genuinely people-loving Head of People & Culture to join our team.

Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on our Senior Leadership Team, you’ll be a trusted advisor to our leaders, an approachable face for our employees and someone who knows when to listen, when to challenge and when to stand firm.

This is a genuinely hands-on role! We’re a lean team, so while you’ll be contributing to our people strategy, you’ll also be rolling up your sleeves, processing payroll, navigating tricky people matters and making things happen.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Drive our People & Culture initiatives, focusing on engagement,



performance and building a positive workplace culture.
- Partner with the CEO, Founder and leadership team, providing practical, commercially sound HR advice.
- Own and process end-to-end payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance and offboarding.
- Confidently navigate employee relations, difficult conversations, investigations and organisational change.
- Coach and challenge leaders, building capability and accountability across the business.
- Keep us compliant with employment legislation, workplace health and safety and HR policies.
- Lead our small P&C; team while continuously improving our people processes and systems.

You’re not afraid to push back, challenge decisions or have tough conversations when needed.
- You’re hands-on. No task is beneath you, and you’re just as comfortable processing payroll as you are contributing to leadership discussions.
- You know your stuff. You bring strong generalist HR experience, employee relations expertise and hands-on payroll experience.
- You’re commercially minded. You balance empathy with sound judgement and understand the realities of running a business.
- You thrive on variety. You’re adaptable, organised and enjoy the pace of an entrepreneurial environment.

Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, proven generalist HR experience and relevant qualifications are essential.
