Disability Support Worker – De Gille & Fenton Streets [Supported Independent Living]

We have a Fixed Term Part-Time opportunity for a Disability Support Worker supporting customers across our De Gille Street and Fenton Street homes in Bendigo.

Position Details

De Gille Street

- Fortnight 1: 26 hours
- Fortnight 2: 31 hours
- 57 hours across a 4-week roster cycle
- Roster Line: 11

Fenton Street

- Fortnight 1: 28.5 hours
- Fortnight 2: 21 hours
- 49.5 hours across a 4-week roster cycle
- Roster Line: 5

About You

- You’ll work with a range of customers with physical disabilities
- Comfortable working in a high physical support setting that includes complex manual handling and behaviour support requirements.
- Provide person-centered support that empowers each client to express choice and independence in how they want to be supported in their day-to-day lives.
- Assist clients with aspects of daily living needs in their homes and at times out in the community; including personal care, meals assistance and medications.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
