Kongsberg Defence Australia (KDAu) is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our growing team in Adelaide. This role will be based at our state-of-the-art facility in Mawson Lakes, supporting critical defence projects.
You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving production across cutting- edge defence projects. You will play a key role in shaping production strategies and ensuring the smooth day-to-day execution of KDAu production activities.
As a Production Planner with Kongsberg, you will:
- Support our project's make / buy process to establish contracted and local production scopes.
- Define production strategies and methods suited to the production environment.
- Establish key performance indicators and reports to monitor execution in production.
- Maintain a production plan for the production workshop and coordinate day to day production activities in accordance with lead times.
- Communicate the production schedule and changes to the schedule.
- Introducing recent work into the production plan
- Reporting on production status.
- Deliver production orders and provide performance reporting for work undertaken in ERP
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrable experience in production planning, preferably in the Australian Defence Industry
- Demonstrated applied ERP experience in manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience using scheduling tools.
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management or related discipline (desirable).
- Previous trade based experience (desirable).
- Applied knowledge of Lean and or Six Sigma (desirable)

Mandatory Requirements
- Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
