A Grade Electrician. Broadford. Monday to Friday.

We are GJH Electrical, a Broadford based electrical and air conditioning business, eighteen years in. There are five of us on the road right now and we are heading for seven. That is where you come in.

THE WORK

Domestic and commercial, across central and northern Victoria and the northern suburbs of Melbourne. In a normal fortnight you might do a switchboard upgrade, a couple of split system installs, fault finding on a commercial site, an EV charger, and a run through one of the government depots we look after on maintenance contracts. No two weeks look the same and you are not stuck doing the one thing every day.

We do both electrical and air conditioning. If you have not touched air conditioning before, that is fine, we will get you trained up.

THE WEEK

After hours call outs and weekend work come up now and then. They are there if you want them and they are never compulsory. Overtime is paid properly, time and a half for the first two hours and double time after that.

Some days there is a Melbourne run and you get back later than usual, and you are paid for the travel either way.
