Our client is seeking an Accounts Officer for immediate start for 3 months in Bendigo. Hybrid work situation.
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join an established corporate finance team in Bendigo. Working closely with the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a key role in administering daily finance operations, supporting month-end reconciliations, processing journal entries, and maintaining general ledger integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Processing end-of-month journals and sundry billing.
- Assisting with Accounts Payable and data upload into the financial system.
- Supporting continuous improvement of financial workflows and internal controls.
What We Are Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in a multi-faceted Accounts Officer role.
- Oracle experience is highly regarded (or strong proficiency in enterprise ERP financial systems).
- Sound understanding of core accounting principles and bank reconciliations.
- High attention to detail, strong time-management, and a cooperative "can-do" attitude.
- Valid Australian working rights.
