Gateway Milling is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team on a part-time basis. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring supplier invoices and payments are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting daily business operations.

About the Role

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting financial administration processes across the business

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain supplier accounts and process supplier invoices and manage payment schedules.

- Generate RCTIs and Seller-to-Buyer invoices within contract management software.

- Reconcile the transfer of data between finance systems.

- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.

- Verify and post accounting transactions to maintain accurate ledgers.

- Liaise with procurement regarding supplier and vendor-related matters.

- Provide general office administration support as required.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable position.

- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.

- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to develop and document procedures and processes.

- A positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
