Agile Delivery Lead (SAP) – Contract

Speller International is currently partnering with a large and complex enterprise environment to secure an experienced Agile Delivery Lead for a contract engagement. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving successful delivery across multiple agile teams, coordinating release activities, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring business outcomes are achieved in line with strategic priorities.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within SAP environments , ideally supporting SAP transformation, enhancement, upgrade, or enterprise application delivery programs.

About the Role

As the Agile Delivery Lead, you will play a key leadership role in coordinating delivery across teams, managing dependencies, removing blockers, and ensuring projects deliver value to the business. You'll operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing stakeholders at all levels while driving continuous improvement and delivery excellence.

This role would suit an experienced Release Train Engineer, Agile Delivery Lead, Program Delivery Manager, or Senior Scrum Master who has worked within large-scale enterprise or government environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead agile delivery and release management activities across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of technical and business releases.
- Monitor delivery progress, risks, issues, budgets, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Facilitate collaboration between business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and technical specialists.
- Ensure appropriate governance, approvals, and quality controls are in place before production releases.
- Mentor, coach, and support delivery teams to improve performance and delivery maturity.




- Identify opportunities for process improvement and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver reporting on project status, risks, milestones, budget, and performance metrics.
- Manage competing priorities and help resolve complex delivery challenges.
- Contribute to broader ICT and technology delivery strategies.

About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Proven experience as an Agile Delivery Lead, Release Train Engineer (RTE), Delivery Manager, Program Manager, or Senior Scrum Master .
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban .
- Experience managing complex enterprise delivery programs and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and release management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and reporting skills.
- Candidates who understand the complexities of SAP delivery, release management, and stakeholder engagement will be highly regarded.

Highly Regarded

- Previous experience within Federal Government, State Government, or other large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience working within regulated or highly governed delivery environments.
- SAFe, Scrum Master, Agile, or Project Management certifications.
