Tired of being paid per piece and working in uncomfortable positions? We do things differently!
At L Bright & Sons, we believe quality workmanship comes from having the right equipment, a supportive team and the time to do the job properly. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Aluminium Polisher & Sander to join our friendly manufacturing team, specialising in high-quality aluminium bullbars for buses and coaches.
Ideally, we're looking for someone full-time, but we're also happy to consider part-time or casual applicants who have the right skills and attitude.
Unlike many traditional polishing workshops, we have invested in purpose-built jigs that securely hold our bullbars at practical working heights, reducing the need to constantly bend down, kneel or work in awkward positions.
And best of all? We pay by the hour, NOT by the piece!
Why You'll Love Working With Us
- 4-Day Working Week – Enjoy a three-day weekend every week in the full-time role!
- Flexible Employment Options – Full-time preferred, but part-time and casual applicants are welcome.
- Hourly Pay, Not Piece Rates – We value quality workmanship over rushing to meet production numbers.
- Better Working Conditions – Our purpose-built jigs hold bullbars at practical working heights, reducing unnecessary bending and kneeling.
- Great Team Environment – Work alongside a friendly, experienced and supportive team.
- All PPE Provided – We supply the personal protective equipment required to perform your job safely.
- Quality Over Quantity – Take pride in producing a high-quality finish without the pressure of piece-rate payments.
Your Working Hours
Our standard full-time roster operates over four days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 5:00 am – 3:00 pm - Friday 5:00 am – 2:00 pm
Saturday – Monday 3 DAYS OFF!
Looking for part-time or casual work instead? We'd still love to hear from you! We're open to discussing suitable working arrangements with the right applicant.

- Sanding and preparing aluminium bullbars and components for polishing.
- Polishing aluminium surfaces to achieve a high-quality finish.

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in aluminium polishing, sanding or surface finishing.
- Pride in your workmanship and robust attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- Willingness to learn our processes and quality standards.
Experience polishing aluminium bullbars would be highly regarded, but applicants with transferable aluminium finishing experience are encouraged to apply.
Why Choose L Bright & Sons?
