As Morrison enters its next phase of growth, we are investing in our retail leadership team to strengthen our store network, develop our people and support future expansion.

We are excited to introduce a newly created Area Manager – WA & SA role, responsible for leading six stores across Western Australia and South Australia, with the chance to support future store openings as our retail network continues to grow. This is an opportunity for an experienced, hands-on retail leader who thrives on building strong relationships, developing Store Managers and driving commercial performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead People & Build Culture

- Coach and develop Store Managers to build confident, capable and high-performing teams.

- Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable culture aligned with Morrison’s values.

- Build strong relationships across the store network, supporting talent development and succession planning.

- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence, leading from the front and supporting teams to achieve their best.

- Lead recruitment and onboarding across the Region, ensuring teams are well resourced and set up for success.

Drive Commercial Performance

- Lead sales, profitability and overall performance across six stores in WA and SA.

- Partner with Store Managers to analyse KPIs, identify opportunities and deliver against budgets and business objectives.

- Drive sales productivity, conversion and continuous improvement across the network.

- Balance commercial outcomes with a strong focus on customer experience.

- Deliver the Morrison Experience

- Champion Morrison’s brand values and ensure a consistent, considered customer experience across all stores.

- Maintain high standards across visual merchandising, store presentation,



stock management and operational execution.

- Support the delivery of new collections, key trading periods and brand initiatives.

Strengthen Operations & Support Growth

- Drive operational consistency, accountability and best practice across the region.

- Work collaboratively with Head Office to improve store performance, processes and team capability.

- Support future store openings, relocations and expansion initiatives, including recruitment, team development and operational readiness.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a seasoned retail professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a genuine passion for people, product and customer experience.

You'll bring

- Proven multi-site retail leadership experience, ideally within fashion, apparel or premium lifestyle retail.

- A track record of developing Store Managers and building high-performing teams.

- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to translate performance insights into action.

- A hands-on, visible leadership style with a genuine commitment to spending time in stores.

- A strong understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising and customer experience.

- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to balance people, performance and operational priorities.

- Experience supporting store openings or network expansion will be highly regarded.

- The ability to travel regularly across Western Australia and South Australia is essential, with additional interstate travel as required to support future store openings and business initiatives.
