The opportunity Delaware North Australia is seeking a full-time Assistant Bar Manager to join our vibrant Matso's Brewery venue at Perth Airport.

As Assistant Manager, you will support the bar and restaurant management while leading, coaching and developing team members to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high service standards, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing outstanding guest service in a dynamic airport environment.

What will you do?

- Support daily outlet operations, delivering exceptional service and operational excellence
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team that creates memorable guest experiences
- Foster a positive, inclusive and guest-focused culture
- Ensure compliance with food safety, OH&S; and company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate food safety and operational records to meet regulatory requirements
- Optimise labour, stock, and costs to drive outlet performance
- Maximise sales through upselling, promotions and outstanding service
- Uphold product quality and presentation, ensuring brand standards are consistently met
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management activities
- Partner with the Manager to achieve financial, operational and guest satisfaction goals

More About You

- Previous supervisor or Assistant Manager experience in a fast-paced bar/cafe/restaurant environment
- Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Safety Certificates
- Approved Managers Card
- Passion for the hospitality industry with a guest-focused, energetic and self-motivated approach




- Strong people leadership skills with experience in recruiting, mentoring, training and developing teams
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
