About the role

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, driving operational insights and helping improve business performance. You won't just be producing reports; you'll be helping management understand what the numbers mean and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports

- Process monthly journals and general ledger reconciliations

- Analyse and explain financial variances

- Support continuous improvement of management reporting

- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data

- Assist with annual budgets across multiple business entities

- Support ongoing forecasting and business performance modelling

- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts

- Conduct job costing, cost analysis and profitability reporting

- Monitor labour costs and operational spend

About you

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Management Accounting,



Commercial Accounting or Finance Business Partnering role

- Previous experience working within a manufacturing, production or inventory-based environment

- Strong management reporting, forecasting and analysis skills

- Advanced understanding of financial accounting principles

- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills

- Robust attention to detail with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

- CPA or CA qualification (highly regarded)

- Experience with inventory analysis and costing (highly regarded)

- Experience implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives (highly regarded)
