Industrial automation is changing how businesses design, run and improve their operations. This role is for someone who can turn that opportunity into new customer relationships and lasting commercial growth across Sydney and NSW.

You’ll take ownership of a broad territory, working with manufacturers, OEMs, system integrators and engineering teams. The focus is on finding new opportunities, understanding what customers need from their operations and bringing the right automation solutions to the conversation.

The role

You’ll build a strong pipeline through proactive prospecting, customer visits and industry relationships. You’ll also work closely with technical and internal teams to shape solutions, support projects and grow existing accounts.

There’s room to make the territory your own, with the backing of an established business and a technical team to support you.

About You

- A track record in B2B business development or technical sales
- Experience in industrial automation, controls, electrical products or a related technical field
- Confidence building relationships with engineers, operations teams and senior decision-makers




- The ability to understand a customer’s application and connect it to a practical solution
- A proactive approach to prospecting, pipeline development and territory planning
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across Sydney and NSW

This will suit a commercially minded BDM who enjoys technical conversations, getting out to meet customers and building new business over time.

On Offer

- Base Salary of $120k - $140k

- Super at 12%
- Fully Maintained Company vehicle or Car Allowance can be discussed
- Generous bonus/commission structure
