About the role

Canada Bay Club is seeking an experienced, reliable and organised full-time Cellar Attendant to support the day-to-day management of our beverage operations across two venues. This hands-on role is vital to ensuring our bars and hospitality outlets are fully stocked, organised and ready to deliver exceptional service to our members and guests. Working closely with our management team, you will take ownership of cellar operations, stock control, beverage distribution and inventory management while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

- Receive, check and process beverage deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain accurate stock records and beverage inventory levels across all outlets.
- Store, rotate and manage beer, wine, spirits, post-mix and other beverage products in accordance with best practice.
- Distribute stock efficiently to bars, functions and service areas throughout the Club.
- Assist with stocktakes and investigate stock variances in a timely manner.
- Monitor and manage stock rotation to minimise wastage and maximise product quality.
- Change kegs and oversee the maintenance of cellar equipment and systems.
- Ensure cellar and storage areas are clean, organised and compliant with WHS and food safety standards.
- Work closely with department managers to forecast stock requirements and ensure service readiness.




- Assist with ordering and replenishment processes as required.

About you

- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in cellar operations is essential.
- Previous experience within a registered club, hotel, pub or high-volume hospitality venue is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of beverage products, cellar operations and inventory management.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate stock records and manage stock movements.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accountability and operational excellence.
- Physically capable of safely handling and moving beverage stock, including kegs and cartons.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of cellar operations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Current NSW RSA and RCG competency cards.
- Australian working rights.
