About the Role The Chef/Cook to join our Hospital Services team. Working within a supportive healthcare environment, responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving nourishing, appetising, and visually appealing in-house meals for patients which are aligned with the guidelines of Food Safety Program.

Reporting to the Hospital Services Manager, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals in accordance with menu requirements and dietary guidelines.





- Assisting with the provision of specialised diets as prescribed by Dietitians, Speech Pathologists, and Clinical Care teams.

- Ensuring meals are presented to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner.

- Maintaining food safety, infection control, and kitchen hygiene standards in line with organisational policies.

- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and management of food supplies.

- Contributing to a positive team culture through a proactive and cooperative approach.

Essential Criteria

- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent/ higher trade qualifications)

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships within a team.

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Experience in Hospital Catering (Desirable)

This is a casual position which offers flexible working hours 7 days a week.
