Kombu QVM is growing, and we’re looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our expanding kitchen team across multiple positions.

Current Opportunities

Chefs – Experienced chefs confident in managing hot and cold sections, maintaining high standards and able to follow recipes

Cooks – Reliable cooks with strong kitchen fundamentals, attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Prep Hands – Organised and hardworking individuals to assist with daily food preparation, kitchen organisation and general kitchen operations.

About Kombu

Our menu draws inspiration from traditional Japanese cooking and washoku principles, with a contemporary approach to ingredients, presentation and flavour. Working closely with the seasons and quality local produce, our focus is on considered, approachable food, consistently executed to a high standard.

We’re looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong team mentality and bring a positive attitude to the kitchen.

Experience with Japanese cuisine is highly regarded, but more importantly, we value reliability, attention to detail, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
