$65,000 – $79,000 inclusive of adverse working allowance + up to 15% Superannuation

The City of Armadale is looking for experienced Labourers to join our Civil Works team. Working across a variety of construction and maintenance projects, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining the infrastructure our community uses every day.

What You’ll Be Doing Working with an experienced crew, you'll contribute to the construction and maintenance of the City's roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure, with a strong focus on concreting works.

This includes

- Concrete placement, finishing and curing
- Kerb and gutter construction and repairs
- Footpath and crossover construction and reinstatement
- Formwork preparation and site set-up
- Concrete repair and maintenance works
- Road and drainage infrastructure maintenance
- Operating civil construction plant and equipment
- Reading plans and completing work to specification




- General civil construction, labouring and site preparation activities
- Traffic management and safe work site set up

- Road Construction Worker
- Civil Labourer with concreting experience
- Local Government Works Operator
- Infrastructure Maintenance Worker

If you’re reliable, safety minded, and enjoy working in a crew environment, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Need

- Current C Class Driver’s License
- Previous experience in civil construction, road maintenance or plant operation
- Strong understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to work outdoors and undertake physical work
- Good communication skills and ability to work within a crew
- Ability to obtain a National Police Certificate

Desirable

- Current HR Driver’s License
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) certification
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Experience operating loaders, skid steers, excavators or rollers
- Stormwater, drainage or pipe laying experience
