About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and detail-focused Full-Time Cleaner to support the daily upkeep of accommodation, amenities, offices, and communal spaces at our site located in Dirranbandi, QLD.

This position is being advertised alongside a Cook role and would suit a couple or two individuals applying together, with flexibility available to split duties where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Housekeeping

- Clean guest rooms, ensuites, and communal bathrooms

- Make beds, change linen, and restock amenities

- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, and linen handling

- Clean offices, dining rooms, gyms, and recreation areas

- Sweep, mop, vacuum, empty bins, and complete routine cleaning

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

General & Team Support

- Assist with dining room setup and cleanliness

- Provide support to the Camp Cook as required, including assistance with basic food preparation, cleaning, and kitchen duties as required

- Support kitchen wash-up and service areas as required

- Contribute to overall site presentation

- Occasionally assist with minor yard work or light maintenance tasks





- Work independently or as part of a small team while demonstrating a strong safety culture

Skills & Experience

Applicants must have valid Australian work rights or eligibility to work in Australia.

Required:

- Minimum of 6 months experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or accommodation services

- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation

- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, repetitive work)

- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work unsupervised

- Good communication skills

- Must hold a current open car licence.

- Police check (or willingness to obtain)

- Willingness to undergo drug & alcohol testing if required

Desirable:

- Experience in rural, remote, or camp-style environments

- First Aid / CPR
