Client Service Manager – Commercial Cleaning

Adept Services is a growing Australian commercial cleaning and facility services company, and we're looking for an experienced Client Service Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our cleaning contracts across Sydney and NSW.

This is a hands-on operational leadership role where you'll be trusted to manage client relationships, coordinate cleaning teams, maintain service standards and resolve operational challenges.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and confident making decisions. Someone who doesn't just report problems, but takes ownership of getting them resolved.

What you'll be responsible for

Client & Portfolio Management

- Manage an assigned portfolio of commercial cleaning sites, ensuring contracted services are consistently delivered.

- Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication, site visits and proactive service management.

- Handle client complaints, coordinate corrective actions and follow through until issues are satisfactorily resolved.

Daily Operations & Workforce Management

- Oversee daily cleaning operations, schedules, attendance and service delivery.

- Coordinate cleaner recruitment, screening, onboarding, rostering and replacement coverage.

- Supervise, train and support cleaners and subcontractors to maintain high standards.

- Respond to staffing shortages, missed shifts and operational disruptions with practical solutions.

- Ensure equipment, chemicals and consumables are available and appropriately managed.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

- Conduct regular site inspections and implement quality improvement measures.

- Identify cleaning deficiencies,



allocate corrective actions and verify completion.

- Ensure site operations comply with safety procedures, client requirements and company standards.

- Maintain accurate inspections, attendance records and operational reports using our proprietary Adept Suite platform.

Operational Performance

- Coordinate current contract mobilisations, including staffing, site inductions, equipment and service readiness.

- Monitor labour hours, staffing efficiency and operational expenses against approved budgets.

- Identify recurring service problems and implement improvements to prevent them.

- Provide management with regular operational updates and recommendations.

About you

We're looking for someone with experience in commercial cleaning or facility services who understands what it takes to manage multiple sites and frontline teams.

You'll ideally bring:

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning operations, facilities management or a similar multi-site service environment.

- Experience managing cleaners, subcontractors or field-based teams.

- Strong client relationship management and complaint resolution skills.

- Confidence coordinating rosters, recruitment, site inspections and day-to-day operations.

- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.

- The ability to prioritise competing demands and work independently.

- An understanding of cleaning contract requirements,



labour efficiency and operational costs.

- Confidence using digital scheduling, workforce management and inspection systems.

- A current Australian driver's licence and the ability to travel between sites.

- Appropriate Australian working rights.

Experience managing an established portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts will be highly regarded.

This isn't a desk-bound customer service position. You'll be actively involved in client relationships, field operations, cleaner management and quality assurance.

The role involves travel between client sites, with occasional early morning or evening attendance in accordance with agreed working arrangements.
