About the role

Flexco Australia is creating one of WAs most advanced manufacturing facilities and we're looking for skilled, motivated tradespeople and operators to join us from the start.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a brand-new purpose-built manufacturing facility, equipped with state-of-the-art laser cutting, welding, forming, machining, and assembly equipment. Unlike traditional fabrication roles that focus on a single process, you'll be part of a highly skilled team manufacturing complete products from raw material through to finished assembly.

Our products support critical industries including mining, materials handling, industrial maintenance, and bulk conveying. Every day you'll contribute to the manufacture of components used by some of Australia's largest industrial operations.

What you'll be doing

- Operating CNC machines and other computer-controlled equipment to produce components to exact specifications

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and work orders to understand job requirements and tolerances

- Setting up machines, installing tools, fixtures and workpieces, and calibrating equipment before production runs

- Monitoring machine operations during production cycles to ensure quality standards are maintained and identifying any issues or deviations

- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity

- Making necessary adjustments to machine settings and parameters during production to maintain accuracy and quality

- Maintaining accurate records of production runs, machine performance and any incidents or maintenance requirements





- Adhering to health and safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environment for all team members

- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress, issues and concerns

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing setting, ideally with at least 2–3 years of hands-on experience

- Proficiency in operating CNC or similar computer-controlled machinery

- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications accurately

- Competency in setting up machines, installing tooling and preparing workpieces for production

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work consistently

- Ability to work safely and follow health and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues independently

- Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a rapid-paced environment

- Preferred: Experience with CNC programming, CAD/CAM software or additional machining certifications

- Preferred: Knowledge of quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies
