### Are you a young adult (18-35yrs) with a passion for social & environmental justice?

Join YCW, an interfaith volunteer group of passionate young people who come together to address societal concerns, such as poverty, discrimination, and climate change.

Work with us to develop and participate in local actions and initiatives to address various social concerns.

Led by our faith and values, we aim to create positive change in ourselves, our relationships, workplaces, communities, and the wider world.

As a member of YCW you will:

- Use and build upon leadership skills to plan, present, and attend actions and initiatives that address social issues
- Connect with disadvantaged or vulnerable people living in our community​
- Meet as a group of like-minded people
- Educate ourselves
- Commit to regular volunteering
- Participate in opportunities for spiritual formation if desired

Your passions may include:

- youth rights and workers' rights
- rights of international students and CaLD rights
- social justice and equity
- analysing and reflecting on social issues
- turning your values into impactful community initiatives
- local, grassroots movements
- creating spaces for connection and community

Duties this may include:

- community organising & advocacy
- fundraising & event planning




- campaigning, media & communications
- research, planning & analysis
- companionship & community building
- participation in planning meetings
- grant proposal writing
