About the Role

We are seeking a Cook to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, with a potential for extension!

Shift Times

- 07:00am to 03:00pm or 10:00am to 06:00pm (Saturday and Sunday)

You will be based at our Bowral House, located at 87-89 Kangaloon Rd Bowral NSW 2576.

Bowral House is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to join our welcoming aged care team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about preparing nutritious, high-quality meals and understands the importance of food in enhancing quality of life for older people.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, and deliver nutritious, seasonal, and appetising meals tailored to residents’ needs and preferences

- Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards

- Ensure kitchen and food preparation areas are kept clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times

- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and catering team

About You





We are looking for someone who:

- Police Check (National Police Certificate) (Essential)

- At least 1-2 years experience as a Cook (Desirable)

- Previous aged care experience (Desirable)

- Has a passion for creating healthy, delicious, and visually appealing meals

- Is organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene

- Knowledge of infection control procedures

- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff
