Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with

menu requirements and established recipes.
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before food

preparation.
- Monitor cooking times, temperatures and food presentation

to maintain consistent quality.
- Prepare ingredients, including cutting, portioning, seasoning

and marinating food.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with food safety

and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and storing

kitchen supplies.
- Work efficiently with kitchen staff to ensure timely food

preparation and service. Qualifications and Experience:
- An Australian Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a

relevant qualification may be required.
- Relevant work experience in a commercial kitchen may be

required.
- Positive knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Salary $75,000 - $80,000
